Horses have long been a meaningful subject in Megan’s work, representing freedom, connection, and reflection. Inspired by photographs of the wild horse bands along Arizona’s Lower Salt River, this body of work celebrates the magic of witnessing these animals in their natural environment. Megan chose to donate a percentage of proceeds to the SRWHMG (Salt River Wild Horse Management Group) following her participation in the 2025 Hidden in the Hills Show. This additional funding went to supporting their ongoing efforts to protect the horses and preserve their history.
